Cam Gigandet born August 16, 1982 in Tacoma, Washington) is an American actor. He is perhaps best known for his role as Kevin Volchok on the FOX TV series The O.C., as well as James in the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's book, Twilight. Cam used a low-carb, high-protein diet during the training for his role. Physically, Cam Gigandet prepared for the role with a year of intense training. "The first three months were daunting and not fun at all." His days included a couple of hours in the gym, along with four high-protein, low-carb meals.
